About Us
The National Cheerleading Championship (NCC) is the country’s first and only cheerleading competition which employs international rules and regulations.
This event is modeled after the American competitive cheerleading events, the highest level of cheerleading in the world. It is sanctioned by the world governing body of cheerleading, the International Cheer Union (ICU). The NCC is also affiliated with the governing body of Philippine cheerleading, the Philippine Cheerleading Alliance (PCA).
The primary purpose of the NCC is to raise the caliber of cheerleading in the country and legitimize the sport through an annual national tournament.
The secondary purpose is to assist educational institutions bolster their physical education programs mainly for, but certainly not limited to, women.
